Most of the big releases are months in the past or months in the future ā€” what's an eager gamer to-do during this downtime? Well, there are actually great games coming out right this very second. And there's actually one new title that's like getting multiple games in one: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

You can play your way through all nine main Star Wars films on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation or Xbox! Plus, it's on sale, and you can score the biggest discount on the game since it was released in April of this year.

If you have Amazon Prime, youā€™ll get free two-day shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)

Some of you might remember Lego Star Wars from way back in 2005, as well as its multiple sequels that covered various other films and TV shows in the Star Wars franchise. But this isn't just a collection of all those games in one handy package. It's a rebuilt collection for current consoles, with new improved graphics and controls, as well as levels never seen in a Lego Star Wars game before.

You can start at the beginning with The Phantom Menace or keep it old school with A New Hope. Or try your (cybernetic) hand at The Force Awakens. The game even has downloadable content of your favorite side-story characters from Rogue One, Solo and The Mandalorian!

The early reviews are solid. This parent says: "My 9-year-old loves this game! Itā€™s just like the movies with a Lego twist."

One gamer calls it "an awesome game" and adds: "Lego does it again but now itā€™s the whole galaxy. All nine movies and multiple planets to explore with so many characters. The game is so entertaining, even the cut scenes are not to be missed. I waited several years for this game and I am not disappointed."

Another Amazon shopper really dug into what makes the game a winner: "Smoother graphics. Some enemies may react differently depending on where you shot them, helmets get shot off if you do a headshot. More visual gags among the characters during cutscenes compared to past Lego games... Tons of variety in gameplay (pod racing, free-throw basketball, ship combat, decoding mission, platforming, puzzles, etc). Youā€™re not just clearing out one area to the next to get to the next cutscene."

The reviewer lauds it for its "high replay value" and calls it "the best and accessible Lego Star Wars game, if not the best Lego game."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
