Lenny Kravitz Got Roasted by Daughter Zo? for His Thirsty Wardrobe
LENNY KRAVITZ HAS been commemorated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with his very own star, an honor befitting the career and legacy of an artist who has been a giant in the pop culture sphere for almost 40 years—and who continues to exude true rock star charisma and sex appeal on the cusp of turning 60.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kravitz reflected on the experience, remarking that it was "beautiful" to have his star located right in front of Capital Records, near the stars of music legends like John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Roy Orbison, and that it was also "not bad" to be inducted onto the famous walk by movie star Denzel Washington and his own daughter, actress and singer Zo? Kravitz.
They proceeded to air a clip from Zo?'s speech, which segued seamlessly from paying loving tribute to her father to gleefully tearing him apart for his consistently revealing wardrobe choices and tendency to bare his (admittedly sculpted) chest at the drop of a hat.
"I've seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I've seen your incredible dedication to your art," she began. "But mostly, I've seen through your shirts."
"According to my dad, if it doesn't expose your nipples it's not a shirt," she continued. "Your relationship with the netted shirt is probably your longest one, and it works."
Kravitz did not even try to fight the allegations—after all, he did go fully nude in his last music video—and took it all in the humor and spirit with which it was intended, telling Fallon: "I thought it was quite appropriate."
