'Let go of the fast food': Iskra Lawrence gets shamed over revealing photo with a burger

Iskra Lawrence is out here living her best life, and she isn’t afraid to show it with a revealing snap on Instagram.

The curvy model has made a name for herself by sharing a host of super-relatable photos on social media in the name of body positivity — from unretouched campaign pictures to behind-the-scenes looks at the not-so-glamorous side of the modeling industry. But in her most recent attempt to illustrate these relatable moments, critics are calling her out for perpetuating an unhealthy lifestyle.

“I get excited by lots of things in life,” Lawrence captioned her photo, which features her sitting in the back seat of a car in a bra and underwear while smiling with a burger in hand.

One Instagram user commented, “This kind of role modeling is supposed to be empowering, but encourages staying stuck in unhealthy habits.” Another one wrote, “You need to let go of the fast food and focus on shaping your body.”

However, a majority of Lawrence’s comments are from followers who look up to the model for relatable and inspiring content just like this. “Why is this me all the time? Love you and how real you always are!!!” one fan wrote. “These are the confidence goals I wish to achieve,” wrote another.

The snap comes from a video that Lawrence posted during New York Fashion Week, where she revealed what truly goes on between catwalks and red carpets.

I left the show and said I have five guys waiting for me.. and I wasn’t talking about no mans,” she wrote, likely referring to Five Guys burgers. Lawrence captioned the video, “#priorities.”
