Liam Gallagher will appear on Celebrity Gogglebox
Liam Gallagher has been confirmed as one of the famous faces slobbing around in front of the TV for this week's Celebrity Gogglebox, which is raising money for Stand Up to Cancer.
The former Oasis frontman, who recently struck out on his own with his first solo record, will appear alongside his mother Peggy and 16-year-old son Gene.
But while Gallagher likely had charity on the mind when he signed up for the show, it could also be a case of "anything you can do, I can do better", as his brother, former band mate and current full-time nemesis Noel Gallagher previously appeared on the 2014 Celebrity Gogglebox.
That was a bit more starry of an appearance, however, with Noel sitting on the sofa with Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
Also taking part in this week's edition are Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp and, somewhat jarringly, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
The Celebrity Gogglebox special screens as part of Channel 4's Stand Up for Cancer event this Friday at 9pm.
