Last August, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced they were splitting after six months of marriage.

"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time," Cyrus's rep told People a year ago. "Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."

A source told Us Weekly that Hemsworth and Cyrus have not communicated much since they ended their marriage.

"Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point," the source said. "He was really hurt by their split." The source continued: "Miley and Liam haven’t talked much since their divorce. Liam was hurt by Miley moving on with new love interests shortly after they broke up."

In an interview with the Call Her Daddy podcast this past week, Cyrus shared some details on her breakup with Hemsworth, per The Sun.

"I had a very public, very big breakup that was a 10-year span of a relationship," she said. "I tried not to get lost in the emotion … It's like a death when you lose a loved one, it's that deep. It feels like a death."

Cyrus began dating Australian musician Cody Simpson last fall, and she confirmed this week that she and Simpson have split.

"It came out that me and my boyfriend have broken up," she said on Instagram Live. "It was confirmed by a 'reliable source' even though no one is reliable in a relationship except the individuals who are participating in it. But right now, two halves can't make a whole, and we're individually just working on ourselves to become the people that we wanna be, like everybody else at this age."
