No matter how progressive you think you are, societal expectations and heteronormativity come for all of us. When intellectual Mercury begins one of its infamous retrogrades on Sunday, August 4, your focus shouldn't be the usual travel delays or communication mishaps. Instead, see this retrograde as an opportunity to examine the limitations you have, perhaps unknowingly, imposed on yourself. Also on Sunday, August 4, there's a new moon, the lunation associated with fresh starts, in your 11th House of Friendship. Understand this is an opportunity to recommit yourself to your favorite people. Treat your friends like family; after all, they truly are.
You might be in a confusing point in your life right now. Know that when Juno, the asteroid of commitment, moves into your sign on Friday, August 9, you'll get some clarity. And, by the way, this period doesn't need to get too heavy. The end of Mercury retrograde is a really great time to implement boundaries and remind yourself who is not worth your time. When loving Venus comes home to your sign on Thursday, August 29, you feel very aware of your worth and ready to snip out those who are undeserving.
