Like Father, Like Son: Brooklyn Beckham Lands the Cover of Miss Vogue UK

There’s a Beckham on the cover of an October 2015 fashion glossy — and it’s neither David nor Victoria. 16-year-old Brooklyn is Miss Vogue UK’s debut cover boy, shot by Daniel Jackson, and in his first ever press interview, he tells the British teen publication about hoping to study art and photography in the United States once he’s done with his exams. His style heroes are James Dean and Steve McQueen, and true to their influences, he’s sporting a simple striped shirt, a pompadour, and a look of chagrin on his face — even with a pretty model right next to him. “My mum knows a lot about fashion, but obviously I listen to my dad as he has great style and we share clothes,” he said. At the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, he walked down the red carpet in a Ralph Lauren suit. Vogue UK’s beauty and health director Nicola Mouton and fashion bookings assistant Katie Lowe tell Yahoo Beauty that Luke Hersheson did the hair, Miranda Joyce did the makeup, Kate Phelan styled the shoot, and 17-year-old Adrienne Juliger was the lucky model posing with Beckham.

This isn’t Beckham’s first magazine cover, though. The September 2015 issue of Interview, dubbed the #Me issue, is a selfie taken by Victoria, showing David lounging in the background and Brooklyn texting right next to his father. He may not be following in his father’s steps in football, but he’s definitely got the style gene passed down from both parents.
