Lily Collins Celebrates Anniversary With Sweet Throwback Photos With Charlie McDowell
Lily Collins is celebrating a sweet relationship milestone with "the greatest partner," Charlie McDowell.
The couple is marking two years as husband and wife, reflecting on all of the "epic adventures" that have come so far and all that await them.
The Mirror, Mirror actress took to Instagram early this morning, Sept. 4, to mark the occasion, sharing several photos from their fairytale wedding in the ethereal woods of Dunton Springs, Colorado, along with a heartfelt message to her beau.
"Two years today and a lifetime to come. I remember this moment, this day, this excitement as vividly as if it were yesterday," she began. "And I feel the love, the support, and the magic 100 times more. I adore you @charliemcdowell and I couldn’t be more grateful to be your other half in life and in love. You make me a stronger, bolder, and brighter human."
She continued, "Thank you for being the greatest partner I could ever imagine and for making me smile like no other. Here’s to another 365 days of memories ahead, wherever in the world we find ourselves. I’d walk into the unknown with you any day and every day. With you by my side, it’s always an epic adventure…"
McDowell shared a photo of his own later in the day, posting a black-and-white photo of the two kissing with a bright light behind them casting them into shadow.
"Two years married to this beautiful soul. I’m grateful for every moment spent with you @lilyjcollins. Many more adventures ahead of us. ??? ??????," he wrote.
The two have been on a series of grand adventures over the last several months. Collins was spotted being a "Swedish snow bunny" last winter, spent her birthday in Japan, and shared her "postcards from Helsinki" as they travelled the world on their "epic adventures."
