Made with a creamy peanut butter filling that gets enrobed in rich, decadent milk chocolate, shoppers can't seem to put these down. As if the nostalgic flavor combo wasn’t enough, the treat dons a fall-inspired look and is shaped like a pumpkin straight out of the patch.
The sweet discovery was initially posted on the r/aldi subreddit and was cleverly captioned, “STAY AWAY, I mean it!” to ward off any shoppers who might be frantically grabbing their keys at the sight.
It didn’t take long, however, for someone to ignore the strict orders to steer clear, with one user commenting, “I LISTEN TO NO ONE!!! I got the last 3 bags in my store like literally 20 minutes ago. XD”. The deception hilariously continued with another witty diversion from a Redditor who quipped, “False advertising. They do not taste like pumpkins at all. Save yourself and avoid!”
If you choose to brave the hoards of customers stocking up on the seasonal treat, you’ll want to move quickly to avoid the sweet being sold out. And while you're at it, be sure pick up the grocer's cute new leaf-shaped chopping block that's flying off the shelves.
