Even though Lindsie Chrisley is noticeably absent from her family's hit reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best, the drama continues in real life. The latest revolves around her dad, Todd Chrisley, who shared a cryptic message just one day after Lindsie revealed that she and her husband Will Campbell were divorcing.

Fans of Chrisley Knows Best will remember Lindsie from earlier seasons of the hit reality TV show. Lindsie, Todd's oldest daughter from his first marriage, left the show after season 5.

On July 27, Lindsie shared an Instagram post featuring a photo of herself embracing 8-year-old son, Jackson, in what appears to be an empty living room. "While one door closes, another opens. ?It's with the deepest sadness that, after 9 years of marriage, Will & I have mutually decided to end our marriage. We maintain the greatest respect & love for one another, & we're so grateful for our time together. We will continue to remain friends & be devoted parents to our son whom we both love very much. ? Personally, I am focusing on the new beginnings ahead & a fresh space with the move this week. Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy as we work through this challenging time for our family," she wrote.

A day later, Todd posted a touching Instagram caption. However, it was unclear who the heartfelt message was for, although many fans agreed that it was for his daughter. "I’m here. I love you. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it, and I’m working all things out for good, for you, my child. There is nothing you can do or have done that will make me ever love you less. I will protect you from anything, and anyone who tries’s to harm you or your reputation. I am stronger than depression and anxiety. I am braver than loneliness, and nothing will ever exhaust me. I promise you I will never leave you nor forsake you. I am breathing a new wind into and over your life right now. Look for the favor and blessings I’m sending in this season your way because they are from me. I love you so much! -God and Todd #you know who you are," it reads.

Some fans applauded Todd for his words, with one commenter saying, "I hope she sees this, realizes she needs you and the family and returns to mend the hurt just like Kyle did." Others took Lindsie's side, saying "... it’s her story to tell if she chooses, not his."

The message from Todd is also getting some backlash after Lindsie revealed on her Coffee Convos podcast that she hasn't been in contact with her father, and in fact, she's blocked from his Instagram.

"As you all know, I shared that I was going through a divorce, and this has been something that has weighed heavily on me and my emotional state for some time now. It has been very, very freeing to be able to share that. We all know that social media is so scary and it can make hard situations in life so much harder," Lindsie said. "Along with processing/sharing something that is so personal with the world, it was brought to my attention that there was a post made by my dad on Instagram. I am blocked, so there is no way for me to see that, so I just wanna also preface that. I have many feelings about this but part of my growth process is that I need to process those feelings before speaking on them."

Lindsie continued, "I truly was shocked when I saw something so personal shared, as we do have each other’s numbers, and even though we are not in contact with each other, we do have each other’s personal phone numbers and our attorneys are in contact with each other. So I have reached out privately and I feel certain that our legal teams will be in communication with each other over the coming weeks."

All we can hope for is that these two reconcile and continue to build a great relationship.
