Little Apple archery store invites women to take their shot with a bow and arrow

MANHATTAN (KSNT) — Women in the Little Apple had a unique opportunity to take their shot at archery.

The Kansas Archery Center, east of Manhattan, hosted its second Ladies Archery Night. The event invites women of all skill levels to practice their archery skills. Archery night is also a chance for women to take a shot at something new.

KSNT 27 News spoke to Jennifer Yarbrough, who founded the Ladies Archery Night, who said this event is an opportunity to give women in the area an opportunity to take a shot at something new.

“Whether you’re a hunter or not, it’s always fun to come shoot your bow, hone your skills, learn new ones, make new friends, shoot in a noncompetitive environment, and just have a good time,” Yarbrough said.

Yarbrough tried to hold the event on the second Wednesday of every month. The next date is scheduled for Aug. 14.
