Little girl dressed as Beyonce has absolutely nailed it
Not many people can come close to resembling the queen — Beyonce, that is. But one 9-year-old is giving Blue Ivy a run for her money: Raya Sunshine Mullan, who went to a pop-star themed birthday party dressed up as Beyonce in her “Formation” video. Her look is so similarly adorable to the singer, it went viral on her cousin’s Twitter page and prompted Raya to create her own account on Twitter.
“Ever since I could remember I’ve loved Beyonce,” Raya tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

So when one of her friends invited her to the pop-star party, she knew she’d go as her idol. In preparation, Raya’s mother reached out to a family friend who is “extremely creative” and they took on the task of creating the look.
“I had no idea it would turn out so amazing,” says Raya.
Raya’s cousin and sister, both 10, were also in attendance at the pop star party. They gave awesome Aaliyah and Jason Derulo renditions, respectively.
Raya has been a competitive dancer since I was she was just 4 years old at Prestige Dance Company in Murrieta, Calif. And she has high hopes of meeting Beyonce one day.
“I want to dance with her, that would be a dream come true,” she says.
Raya’s 10th birthday is just two weeks away and her theme will be, of course, Beyonce. “We are having a fashion show and all my friends will be dressed as different Beyonce looks and we are having a fashion show. I’m so excited,” she says. “The costume posted on Twitter was my trial run.”
The 20-time Grammy award winner is inspiring not only Raya, but many little girls across the country who will be dressing up as Beyonce soon for Halloween — at least if last year’s and more recent examples are any indication…
