  • Amy Roloff and Chris Marek are engaged and the ring is BEAUTIFUL.

  • The two stars of Little People, Big World have been dating for three years.

  • Amy's fans are so happy for the TLC star after hearing the big news.

Spread the good news: Amy Roloff of Little People, Big World is engaged to her boyfriend of three years Chris Marek!

The two announced their engagement to People on Friday, even though Chris proposed Wednesday night — just one day after Amy's 55th birthday. The story goes that Chris popped the big question while at one of their favorite restaurants. The ring? A heart-shaped diamond, which, according to Chris, was exactly what Amy wanted.

“I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” she told the publication. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”

Before she began seeing Chris, Amy was married to Matt Roloff. Together they have four children — Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob. Amy filed for divorce in 2015 after being married to Matt for 27 years.

On Friday afternoon, Amy shared another picture of the ring, writing: "Guess what! I wanted to share with you- I’m engaged! ??????. I was so surprised when Chris asked me to marry him. I said YES ????. I couldn’t be happier and so looking forward to this new part of our life journey together. I’m blessed. Love you Chris. ??????. I love us."

Of course, Amy's fans are going crazy over the engagement announcement.

"So happy for you Amy and happy that you are moving on with your life. It took awhile to work through your divorce. Glad you are past that," one fan wrote on Facebook. "That’s amazing. You both deserve all the happiness in the world," another declared.

Just one week ago, fans had suspected that Amy was engaged after she put the below photo of herself wearing a ring on Instagram. To be clear, the ring wasn't on that finger, but it still got people taking. Turns out ... her fans were on to something, after all!

While the engagement may have shocked some, Amy has revealed in the past that she and Chris were open to tying the knot one day.

"I would definitely love to get married one day," Amy told US Weekly back in May. "But it’s not something that I’m intentionally pursuing."

And now, on to wedding planning!
