Visit St. Lucie has launched a Locals Only campaign that offers exclusive discounts to Treasure Coast residents during the slow summer tourism season.
Deals, which are listed on Visit St. Lucie's website at VisitStlucie.com/locals-only, currently include:
20% off at The Lucie, a boutique hotel in Jensen Beach
Up to 40% at Hutchinson Island Plaza Hotel & Suites, on South Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce, overlooking the Fort Pierce Inlet and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and nightlife
Discounts for Right Directions Rentals, offering vacation rental properties throughout St. Lucie County
10% off rentals at Ocean Village, an oceanfront gated community on South Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce with access to amenities such as pools, golf, tennis and more
Buy one, get one free admission at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum.
20% off a St. Lucie River evening tour aboard the River Lilly Cruise Boat in Port St. Lucie
Discount for guided kayak tours through mangrove forest on the Indian River Lagoon with Motorized Kayak Adventures.
Special discount with Beach Tours on Horseback
"This initiative aims to foster a deeper connection with the local community, especially new residents, by providing special incentives to enjoy and explore the wonderful attractions and overnight accommodations St. Lucie has to offer," according to a news release. "Some offers expire sooner than others, so locals are encouraged to take advantage of great savings now."
Visit St. Lucie seeks more St. Lucie hoteliers, attractions and tour guides to participate, and encourages them to tailor their offers to drive demand during slower periods, such as weekdays. Blackout dates and expiration dates can be included.
