From Town & Country

Today, Jack Brooksbank joins the royal family. In honor of his wedding to the Queen's granddaughter Princess Eugenie, we're taking a look at his new family tree.

Queen Elizabeth

Princess Eugenie has a great relationship with her grandmother, the Queen. Even though she doesn't technically need her Granny's permission to marry (only the first six in line to the throne need the monarch’s consent to wed), we're certain she has it. The Queen was one of the first to know about Eugenie's engagement, and later today, the Elizabeth II will host a daytime reception at Windsor Castle for Eugenie and Jack's wedding guests.

Prince Philip

Eugenie has called her grandpa, Prince Philip "the rock" of their family. "I think Grandpa is incredible,” she said in a 2016 documentary, Our Queen at Ninety. "He really is strong and consistent. He’s been there for all these years, and I think he’s the rock, you know, for all of us." But that said, it's still a little up in the air whether Philip will be in attendance today, given his health concerns.

Prince Andrew

Eugenie's father, Prince Andrew is the son of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth, and in recent weeks, he has said he's "thrilled" about his daughter's upcoming nuptials.

"Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I’m really thrilled for them," Andrew said following the engagement announcement. "I’m just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness."

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York

Eugenie is quite close with her mother, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, even calling her one of her "best friends."

"Mummy, Bea, and I call ourselves 'the Tripod'-they are my best friends in the world," Princess Eugenie told the Telegraph

Ferguson, too, is clearly excited her daughter's wedding. "We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son," she wrote on social media shortly after the engagement was announced, though she's a bit worried she might get emotional during the ceremony. "I do understand why mothers cry at weddings now," she remarked in the lead up to her daughter's nuptials. "All my life I thought, 'Oh, what’s she crying for?' It’s lovely, it’s a great day."

Princess Beatrice

It comes as no surprise that Princess Beatrice will serve as Eugenie's maid of honor today. The sisters are just 21 months apart, and as Eugenie put it in a 2008 interview, they "get on fantastically well." In a more recent conversation with Vogue, the two sisters said they are each other's "rock." “Euge is amazing,” Beatrice said of her sister. “She’s a very modern bride.”

Princess Eugenie

The bride herself! Princess Eugenie is in the spotlight today, but in recent weeks the Queen's granddaughter has said she's "not stressed at all," about her wedding. "It’s very nerve-wracking because you want it to be perfect," she told Vogue. "But then you realize that you’re going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters."

Jack Brooksbank

Over the course of his 7-year relationship with Princess Eugenie, Jack has gotten to know her relatives quite well, and his soon-to-be in laws are thrilled to welcome him into the family.

Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, has also expressed her affection for her son-in-law. "We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son," she wrote.
