INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

Butterfly Garden Show

  • 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

  • Riverview Park, 600 U.S. 1, Sebastian

  • The fourth annual show features garden and yard items, local business vendors, artists, food trucks and local musicians.

Vero Beach Orchid Society Show & Sale

  • The 40th annual event includes orchids for sale, award-winning orchid displays, vendors and raffles.

St. Lucie County Safety Festival

  • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

  • Clover Park, 31 Piazza Drive, Port St. Lucie

  • The 10th annual festival features live demonstrations, safety information, vendors, kid zones, bounce houses, face painting, giveaways and the opportunity to interact with local first responders.

Plants in the Park

  • 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

  • Glidden Park, 911 Parkway Drive, Fort Pierce

  • The Garden Club of Fort Pierce's once-a-year plant sale includes perennials, annuals, exotics and houseplants for sale, all from the gardens of the club's members, their families and friends. Members will help answer questions and find the right plant for garden sites regarding sun, shade, color, height, size, soil conditions and ease of growing. Money raised supports garden-related community projects, such as local veggie gardens and youth projects.

MARTIN COUNTY

Southeast Bunfest

  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday

  • The Flagler Center, 201 S.W. Flagler Ave., Stuart

  • The 13th annual festival is the largest event dedicated to rabbits and guinea pigs in the Southeastern U.S., put on by the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, with adoptable critters, raffles, vendors, activities for kids and food trucks.

  • $5 per person, free for kids ages 10 and under
