Looks Like Cardi B Will Be Joining 'Fast and Furious 9'
Fresh off her small blink-and-you'll-miss-it role in the film Hustlers alongside strippers-turned-criminals Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer and more, Cardi B has nabbed yet another role, this time in the ninth (!!) installment of Fast and Furious. Yes, this is actually happening again.
Vin Diesel, who plays the ambitious hothead and ringleader of the Fast squad, announced the news in a video with his new co-star posted on his personal Instagram account. The stars were celebrating their last filming day in the UK. "Day 86 here on the set of Fast 9" Diesel said, adding that the cast "gave every single thing we could for this movie. [We] put it all on the table, all out there." Cardi chimed in: "I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one."

But Cardi B isn't the only newcomer joining the Fast team. John Cena is also joining the cast, which includes Fast alum Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, as well as Charlize Theron, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Helen Mirren.
Big screen roles aside, Cardi recently returned to her reality show roots as the judge of Netflix's new series Rhythm and Flow. Cardi, along with her fellow judges and rappers T.I and Chance the Rapper, travel nationwide to find hip-hop's next superstar. Is there anything Cardi B can't do?
