Lori Harvey brought slick style to Miami Art Week — with effortless heels to match.

On Friday, Harvey arrived to American Express’ ‘Play by American Express Platinum’ party, held during Art Week at the Miami Beach Edition. For the occasion, the influencer slipped on a stark pair of black sandals — a smooth, black pair with thin toe straps and a faintly glossy finish.
Harvey’s sandal choice — which likely included a heeled base, based on its pointed soles and similar pairs she’s worn over the years — added a smooth complement to her ensemble for the occasion: a sleeveless black bodycon dress, complete with allover ribbing and numerous bodice cutouts. The dress’ asymmetric silhouette matched her shoes’ angular details, while diamond stud earrings, thin rings and a finger chain finished her look with a gleaming edge.
Sandals like Harvey’s are favored for their minimal silhouette, which can be seen across an array of heel heights, colors and materials. Open-toed pairs are released year-round from numerous brands, including Vince Camuto, Femme LA and Billini, among others.
During the event, Harvey mingled with star guest including Yvonne Orji and Chanel Iman while taking in music by Donovan’s Yard and the interactive ‘Play’ gallery — which included toys shaped into collectible art, made in collaboration with PlayLab, Inc. and Mattel Creations
Miami Art Week is an annual art convention held in Miami Beach, featuring thousands of artists within daily fairs and galleries. The occasion — which includes Art Basel Miami — also features parties hosted by various brands, with this year’s lineup including soirees by Farfetch, American Express and Nylon magazine.
