Los Angeles Dog Groomer's Transformation of Severely Overgrown Poodle Is So Heartwarming
Even if you're someone who prefers to keep hair and makeup more natural, there's nothing quite as inspiring as witnessing a priceless glow up. Whether it's a physical glow up, like losing a lot of weight, or a big transformation in confidence and self-expression, it's so rewarding to watch someone become their best self.
Some careers allow a person to help others feel their best every day, including those in both the medical field and the beauty industry! And the same goes for pets, too: veterinarians help pets physically feel their best, while groomers ensure their clients are as comfortable and confident as can be.
So when Los Angeles-based dog groomer Jess Rona met a sweet miniature Poodle who hadn't been groomed in months, she made it her mission to help him feel lighter, detangled, and stylish AF.

OMG--what a cutie! This unbothered dog was so chill during his haircut that I'd guess he'd done this before. Knowing how easy it was (for the pup, anyway), hopefully his owner won't wait so long until his next grooming appointment. I do have to give them credit for keeping up with their pup's brushing, though!
"Did they just really keep up with brushing?" asked commenter @peppermint1122. "That’s an impressive amount of coat!" No kidding! When @jessronagrooming explained before this mini Poodle's haircut that his fur was immensely overgrown--but not matted--I was blown away.
That's no accident, right there! It feels like my cockapoo gets tangles in his fur in a matter of minutes, and it's nearly impossible to keep his ears mat-free. So this Poodle's owner must work overtime to keep him detangled! Brushing a dog can be a lot of work, but it really does pay off.
Just because a dog is tangle-free doesn't mean they can go without a haircut all year, though. Fur is warm and heavy and can even impede a dog's movement when it gets long enough! Thankfully, Jess was able to find a fluffy hairstyle that isn't too short and that keeps the sweet dog comfy. It's the best of both worlds!
