Louis Tomlinson’s 18-Year-Old Sister, Félicité Tomlinson, Died From an Accidental Drug Overdose
Louis Tomlinson’s 18-year-old-sister, Félicité, tragically passed away in March.
Reports previously stated that Félicité’s death was caused by a heart attack, but it is now determined to be from an accidental drug overdose.
Félicité Tomlinson, the sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, passed away earlier this year on March 13. She was found unresponsive by her friend in her London apartment, and it was then believed that she suffered a heart attack and died shortly after. Now, according to the BBC, Félicité’s official coroner’s report states that her actual cause of death is attributed to a dangerous cocktail of drugs she took before she died.
Inner West London Coroner’s Court learned that Félicité had cocaine in her system the night she passed. The next morning, Félicité was still breathing, but by the time her friend woke up in the afternoon, Félicité was not. The toxicology report found trace amounts of Xanax and Oxycontin in her system in addition to cocaine. Shirley Radcliffe, a coroner assigned to Félicité’s case, called the dangerous combination of drugs “the perfect storm.”

Upon further investigation, the judicial inquiry also learned that Félicité did engage in recreational drug use, but her drug usage became increasingly consistent after her and Louis’s mother, Johannah Deakin, sadly died from leukemia in 2016. Félicité attended and successfully completed treatment in a a rehab facility in Egypt in fall 2018 but relapsed this year.
Radcliffe said Félicité “was an individual who took drugs deliberately and has succumbed to their...effects accidentally” but added that Félicité was “a bright, much-loved daughter and sister.”
