Louisville Burger Week is back! Your complete guide to enjoying $7 burgers this month

Louisville Burger Week is back and it's bigger than ever.

Between July 15-21, numerous restaurants around the city are offering special $7 burgers from fan-favorite staples to off-menu specialties.

"The idea is to get people to embrace the food, culture, and Louisville-love while getting them out to eat, drink, and try new places," according to its website.

Presented by the Kentucky Beef Council, the annual event also offers diners chances to win big bucks. Download the Louisville Burger Week App in the Google Play or App Store. When you check in at four of more places during the week, you will be automatically entered to win $250 in participating restaurant gift cards.

You'll also earn points just for eating. The 10 users with the highest number of points will also be entered to win $250 in participating restaurant gift cards.

Burger options at each participating restaurant, which includes 40 places, vary. 80/20 at Kaelin's, 1801 Newburg Road, is serving a quarter-pound beef patty with pickled jalapeno jam, crispy chorizo crumble, pico crema, Chihuahua cheese and shredded lettuce on a potato bun. It also offers a house-made black bean burger as a vegetarian option.

Burger Boy, 1450 S. Brook St., and Burger Girl, 3334 Frankfort Ave., both 24-hour diners, are offering a "juicy beef patty enhanced by rich cheddar cheese sauce and our unique Burger Boy Sauce. A slice of crispy bacon and a golden onion ring adds the perfect crunch," according to its description on the site.

At Nic and Norman's, 108 W. Washington St., you can snag a homestyle meatloaf burger topped with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, Nic & Norman's sauce, and fried onion straws.
