Louisville cookie shop named the best of the best in the country

Please & Thank You was named the best cookie shop in the country by the USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. The list announced Friday is made up of independent shops that have an amazing way of making cookies that keep people coming back for more.

"Visitors to these 10 independent cookie shops in the U.S. enjoy yummy treats that come in a range of flavors and varieties, crafted with top-notch ingredients and the utmost love and care," the announcement said.

The article said Please & Thank You is a must visit for people coming to Louisville since their cookies are believed to be the best in the state. The cookies are "Soft and gooey on the inside and slightly crisp around the edges," according to the article, which said the recipe took the owner two years to perfect.
