  • The hit dating series, Love Is Blind, is making its highly talked-about return to Netflix for a second season.

  • Power couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey are back to help a new batch of 30 singles reach the altar.

  • If the season 2 trailer looks juicy, there's good news: Season 3 has already started casting.

It's been two long years since the finale of Love Is Blind season 1 was released, and now fans of the show are ready to watch 30 new singles take on the challenge of navigating their soon-to-be engagements.

If you didn't tune in to season 1, the show follows a group of 15 men and women that are ready to take the walk down the aisle and find their soulmates. Each individual has their own "pod" that they stay in while talking to their potential partner on the other side of the wall. If the connection between the two holds up, the pair will get to meet each other. The twist? They have to get engaged first. From there, they'll have a month to determine whether or not they'll follow through with the marriage or end the engagement.

Last season ended with two marriages with Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton and Amber Pike and Matthew Barnett tying the knot. Fingers crossed, more couples will rise to the occasion and seal the deal this time around. Here's everything to know so far.

When will the season 2 finale air?

The final is set to land on Netflix on February 25. The first five episodes of season 2 are being released February 11th followed by the remaining four episodes, which will drop on February 18th. I can't help but feel that the show will go from pre-Valentine's Day romance to a less dreamy post-Valentines Day aftermathjust my theory, though!

What to expect this season.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey will be returning as the hosts for season 2, and the power couple will help a new group of singles find the loves of their lives.

The show was also filmed in Chicago as opposed to its previous location in Atlanta, with a cast that ranges from 27 to 39-years old, per Parade.

What drama will come up?

While the full details of what's to come this season aren't out there yet, the soundbites from the trailer hint at some major drama. Some of the castmates can be heard saying they don't feel the attraction to their partners and that they're at their breaking points, along with a whole lot of other drama-filled snippets.

Not to mention there *might* be a runaway bride this season? With all of the tears, laughter, and love packed into this trailer, I can't imagine the finale not being worth the watch.

Will there be a season 3?

If this show is your obsession, you're in luck. A season 3 for Love Is Blind is already in the cards. In a 2020 press release, Netflix revealed that it was given the go-ahead to start planning for seasons 2 and 3 of the hit show. "It's been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic stories of real people and real stakes," said Brandon Riegg, Netflix's vice president of nonfiction series and comedy specials.

He added that they, "pride ourselves on creating a favorite show for any taste, and we're thrilled fans embraced all of these series with such enthusiasm and shared passion. We look forward to sparking more joy for our members."

Stay tuned for more updates and watch Love Is Blind premiering February 11th on Netflix.
