Love ‘Homecoming’? There Are Still 2 More Beyoncé Specials Coming to Netflix
Can’t get enough of Beyoncé’s Homecoming on Netflix? Well (good news!), the behind-the-scenes documentary isn’t the only project the 37-year-old singer has up her sleeve.
In fact, Homecoming is the first of three specials that are coming to the streaming service. Beyoncé signed a three-project deal with Netflix that is worth a whopping $60 million, according to Variety.
Unfortunately, not much is known about the forthcoming specials. But if they’re anything like Homecoming, you won’t hear us complaining.
The doc originally premiered on April 17 on Netflix. It gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella performance and how it all came together.
“What people don’t see is the sacrifice,” she said in the movie. “I definitely pushed myself further than I knew I could. And I learned a very valuable lesson. I will never, never push myself that far again.”
The “Crazy in Love” singer wrote, directed and served as an executive producer on the documentary. She also dropped a 40-track accompanying album, which includes two bonus songs: “Before I Let Go” and “I Been On.”
Of course, Beyoncé’s deal with Netflix isn’t the only thing we have to look forward to. The singer’s 65-minute Lemonade film is also scheduled to hit all streaming services beginning tomorrow. (Previously, the movie was only available on Jay-Z’s subscription service, Tidal.)
In the meantime, we’ll be rewatching Homecoming. (You know, just in case we missed something the first five times around.)
