Love Island's Samira reportedly being sued for quitting Dreamgirls
One of the women on ITV show Love Island is said to be facing legal action after she left West End show Dreamgirls to appear in the programme.
Samira Mighty, 22, was appearing in the musical at the Savoy Theatre until filming began on the ITV2 reality show.
The Sun reports that she gave her Dreamgirls bosses just one day's notice, and now Sonia Friedman Productions is said to be seeking £3,000 in compensation.
An anonymous source told the tabloid: "She won’t walk into a job any time soon. Her name is mud and her behaviour totally unprofessional."
Mighty was part of the ensemble, but her name no longer appears on the show's cast list.
She also performed on stage in Mamma Mia and had a small part in the ballroom scene in Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast remake.
Sonia Friedman Productions declined to comment.
