If You Love Italian Design, You Need To Visit Artemest's NYC Pop-Up Store
Walking through Artemest's new Soho pop-up shop, you'll feel more like you're at a museum-between the stunning curated pieces and the designer quotes on the walls, it feels more like an art exhibit than a store. It's such a fitting vibe for the brand, too-Artemest, if you're unfamiliar, is an online destination for unique, high-end handmade Italian art and decor. And now, for the first time, you can check it all out in-person in New York City.
Shopping your favorites at the Artemest pop-up is especially easy, with scannable QR codes at each display, culture ambassadors in the store to answer questions and do demonstrations, and a large screen with which you can scroll through Artemest's online offerings in-store.
"The Artemest SoHo pop-up is part of our strategy of combining physical and digital retail," Marco Credendino, Artemest's CEO and co-founder said in a press release. "Being a digitally-native brand, we are exploring offline retail with a customer-centric approach, mixing best in class technologies, such as AR, with live on-site crafts demonstrations."
SHOP THE COLLECTION Artemest x Richard Ginori, $110 and up
The pop-up is also celebrating the launch of Artemest's collaboration with Richard Ginori: The Road to Heaven is Paved with Excess, a collection of porcelain plates that are inspired by poet William Blake. Each ornate plate has a different word on it ("love," "courage," and "desire," for example) to tell a different story.
Artemest's pop-up store is open through January 31, 2019, so there's still time to stop by. Head to 39 Wooster Street to check it out and see all these stunning designs for yourself. And if you can't make it in time, you can always check out Artemest online.
