If You Loved ‘A Christmas Prince,’ Then Netflix’s Newest Holiday Flick Is for You
The big guy in red (that’s Netflix, not Santa) has been extra generous this year, gifting us not one but two original holiday flicks for our binge-watching pleasure.
First, the feel-good A Christmas Prince came to our screens, and now on December 15, another romantic Netflix original will hit the online streaming site.
Christmas Inheritance tells the story of Ellen Langford (Eliza Taylor), a hard-partying socialite with plans to inherit her father’s company. To test his daughter’s ability to properly handle the business, her father sends Ellen to his small hometown (conveniently named Snow Falls), where she is tasked with delivering the family’s traditional Christmas letters. While there, Ellen—surprise, surprise—meets a hunky local inn employee (Jake Lacy) who helps her learn the true meaning of the holidays.Until her fiancé shows up, that is.
Family drama, romance, snow—yep, this movie has all the makings of a holiday classic. Oh, and Hallmark Channel favorite Andie MacDowell makes an appearance, so you know it’s going to be good.
Catch Christmas Inheritance on Netflix starting Friday, December 15.
