Low-Carb Cheese Wraps Are Coming to Costco Soon, And We Can’t Wait

Andrea Beck

We have good news for everyone trying to cut carbs—Costco is going to start selling low-carb cheese wraps! Much better than a tortilla, these wraps are made entirely out of baked cheese, and the options for them are endless. You could use them for a burrito, a lunch wrap, or even crisp them up in the microwave and make them into a bowl (taco salad, anyone?).

Right now, Folios’ cheese wraps come in three different flavors: Parmesan, cheddar, and Jarlsberg. Since all three wraps have only 1 gram of carbs but are a little high in fat (12 grams of fat for the Jarlsberg wraps, and 13 for the cheddar and Parmesan versions), they’re a great way for keto dieters to enjoy wraps and sandwiches. They have more protein than your average flour tortilla, too—both the cheddar and Jarlsberg versions have 12 grams of protein per serving, while the Parmesan wraps have 14.

According to Folios’ website, you might not be able to pick them up at Costco just yet—the wraps are supposed to be coming soon to Costco stores in the Northwest. But some avid Costco shoppers have already found them on shelves and posted about them on Instagram, and it looks like nothing but positive reviews so far.

And if you don’t have a Costco membership, you don’t have to sign up just to try these cheese wraps (even though they’re probably worth it). Folios wraps will be at Aldi stores nationwide beginning February 1 (except for Texas—sorry!), and they’re already available at the Midwest grocery chains Hy-Vee, Jewel-Osco, and Fresh and Thyme. If you live in Texas, you can find them at H-E-B grocery, while Washington residents can grab a bag at Rosauers Supermarkets or Yoke’s Fresh Market.

By February 1, they should be available for most of the country to try. And if you don’t have Folios near you yet, you can always experiment with making your own low-carb wraps out of melted cheese!
