Lucky Brand is jumping into the collaboration game.

The denim brand, now owned by SPARC, a partnership between Authentic Brands Group and Simon Property Group, is teaming with the Mexican tequila brand Código 1530 on a limited-edition apparel capsule for fall that launches today. The 22-piece collection of men’s and women’s T-shirts feature vintage imagery and distressed graphics in faded neutrals and earth tones. It also includes trucker hats, crewnecks, hoodies and the hero product, a 223 Straight jean for men in a pair of custom washes that was inspired by Código 1530’s barrel-aged spirits, according to Jimmy Carter, vice president of merchandising for Lucky Brand.

The collection will retail for $49.50 for T-shirts, $89.99 for hoodies and sweatshirts, $149 for the jeans and $39.50 for the hats. The sizes will run from women’s XS and men’s small to XXL for both genders. The jeans will be available in sizes 28 to 42. The collection will be sold at Lucky stores and online.

Natalie Levy, president and chief merchandising officer of SPARC, said: “We are inspired by how dedicated the team at Código 1530 Tequila is, in creating such premium products with artisanal integrity. We took that same passion and commitment to detail and applied it to the product offering — highlighting the same themes in a complementary collection. We used heritage imagery of agave harvesting on several T-shirts and sweatshirts and for the men’s denim we created two vintage faded washes inspired by Código 1530’s barrel-aged spirits.”

The collaboration between the two brands will continue with additional styles launching for spring and summer 2022, according to Carter.
