I remember my first pair of Lululemon leggings as clear as yesterday — mostly because I wore the pair (which I got four years ago) yesterday. And they looked and felt as if I had just bought them.
Ever since my first pair, I’ve saved chunks and chunks of paychecks to get additional items: a few sports bras, a headband and two more leggings. They’re all incredibly comfortable, durable and last longer than all of my past relationships (this latest one’s still going strong — fingers crossed).
See, I love Lululemon products, but I’m not exactly in the position to be spending hundreds of dollars on leggings. And, because all of the brand’s clothes last so long and are made from the best materials, they cost a pretty penny (or two).
So color me shocked when I was perusing the store’s site today and saw a section called “We Made Too Much.” It’s located under the Women, Men or Girls sections at the very bottom.
“Could it be?” I thought to myself. “Could the Holy Grail of Lululemon discounts be hiding in plain sight — on its own website?”
In that moment, Lululemon and I were infinite.
There are pages and pages of items that are heavily discounted. Everything from the leggings (0 to 14), shirts, pants, jackets and slacks are showcased.

Wunder Under Crop (High-Rise)
Shop it: Wunder Under Crop (High-Rise), $69 (Was $88), shop.lululemon.com
Remember how I saved up for a couple of pairs of leggings? This pair was one of them. And though I’m disappointed I didn’t get them on sale, I’m extremely happy they’re on the “Made Too Much” page — because that means I can tell you all about how great these are.
By far, these are my favorite Lululemon leggings. They’re so breathable that I refuse to wear anything else to a hot yoga class. Also, they’re extremely flexible and they suck in my tummy without constricting the movement of my body. Though they’re a light color, the fabric is thick enough so I’ve never had to worry about my underwear showing through.

In Mind Short Sleeve
Shop it: In Mind Short Sleeve, $49 (Was $78), shoplululemon.com
If you’re prone to sweating (like all of us), this shirt can help you feel more confident with all the work you’re putting in — the shirt is literally anti-stink.
“Silverescent” technology stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria in its tracks. Also, an anchor loop at the bottom of the shirt can loop to the hem of your pant, keeping your shirt down during a workout.
