Lunchables Grew Up From the ‘90s and Now Come as Brunchables
As far as lunch was concerned, Lunchables were the Holy Grail in elementary school. Personally, I loved the Pizza with Pepperoni and Turkey + American Cracker Stackers, but some kids were on that Nachos, Cheese Dip + Salsa vibe. Like many of you, I haven’t had Lunchables since I thought gauchos were stylish. However, they’ve grabbed our attention yet again by channeling something young adults love: brunch.
Kraft Heinz’s Brunchables have the same concept as the original Lunchables. Sometimes you just don’t have time to pack a lunch, and this kit gives you everything you need. There are three types of Brunchables in the form of breakfast sandwiches. You have your choice of Bacon & Cheese, Breakfast Sausage & Cheese, and Breakfast Ham & Cheese. All of the little kits are made with Oscar Mayer meats and Kraft cheddar cheese, sandwiched between flatbreads. You’ll also get a blueberry muffin in each pack.
The brunch-inspired meal kits are slated to launch nationwide later this spring. Fortunately, you have the chance to get your hands on them before that happens. Beginning on April 2, fans have 72 hours to put their name on the brunch waitlist at brunchablesisreal.com. One hundred people will win the Brunchables before they hit stores.
The only thing that could possibly make these brunch kits even better would be if they came with mimosas and/or bloody marys. But cocktail-making is one reason we’re OK with growing up.
