‘I’m still in shock’ Woman gives birth at Golden Corral in North Little Rock
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An all-you-can-eat buffet turned into an all-out surprise when one Mississippi woman gave birth at the Golden Corral in North Little Rock.
The mother said she didn’t know she was pregnant until it was time to deliver in the restaurant bathroom.
“I’m still in shock,” Tayvia Woodfork, the mother of Tamaar Kylon Corral Woodfork, said.

Woodfork had experienced a rare case of cryptic pregnancy. According to the American Pregnancy Association, this is when a woman can give birth and not even know she’s pregnant.
On the day baby Tamaar was born, before heading back home to Mississippi, his mother Tayvia, her mom Tameka and their family stopped at the buffet for a bite.
“I ain’t make it to the table,” Woodfork said.
She said she went straight to the bathroom because she was in pain.
Woodfork said she thought it was cramps, but it was actually contractions.
“The baby was six pounds. It was a full baby,” grandmother Tameka Woodfork said.

Tameka said that while Tayvia was in the restroom at the restaurant, her sister “went around and looked in the toilet. She said I ain’t never seen nothing like it. It’s a baby!”
The birth was a complete shock to everyone, especially the Golden Corral staff and customers.
“They were clapping when she came out on the stretcher,” Tameka said.
The unimaginable experience for Tayvia included some unimaginable pain.
“10 out of 10,” she said describing the pain level.
Back home this golden boy is a superstar. Tameka said, “Everybody wants to see the Golden Corral baby.”

In a Facebook post, Golden Corral said baby Tamaar is the record holder for the youngest Golden Corral fan.
