The world of pop culture is no stranger to a debate. Could Jack have fit on the door with Rose? Should Hermione have ended up with Harry instead of Ron? Team Edward or Team Jacob? Now, we question: Does Zendaya have a good wax figure?

Earlier this week, Madame Tussauds London unveiled the wax version of Z on their Instagram and Twitter accounts. The statue dons a hot pink pantsuit and a slicked-back, low-bun hairstyle. The look is a replica of what Zendaya wore to the Humane Society of The United States' To The Rescue Gala in 2016.

“From cinema screens to tv screens, to buying a home in London, Zendaya is EVERYWHERE rn... and from Friday her figure will be at Madame Tussauds London too ??,” the museum wrote in the caption.

Fans immediately sounded off in the comments, some wondering, why this outfit?

“The likeness is great but of all her amazing outfits you made her look like a teenager at a job fair?,” one user penned. Another wrote, “That wet/skin tight BalmainDress she [wore] to the Venice Film Festival would of been a much much better option. It was absolutely flawless.”

Others were just simply confused by the statue’s appearance, drawing comparisons to celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Nicki Minaj. “Zendaya Kardashian??,” one person quipped.

Over on Twitter, fans reacted similarly.

While some defended the museum’s rendition of Zendaya, it appears the general consensus was confusion.
