Madonna Teases Return to Touring in Sultry New Photos
Madonna seems back to her old self following her recent health scare.
The superstar musician is playing dress-up at home while she recuperates ahead of hitting the road, but it's clear she can't wait to be back on stage.
"All dressed up and Nowhere to go…………….??," she teased in the caption of an Instagram post from yesterday, Aug. 9. "But Soon , Very Soon, I’ll be traveling to you . #celebrationtour."
The carousel featured a slew of snapshots of the singer dressed up in a black corset with fishnets and gloves, showing off her bling and buckled boots across the sultry photoset.
The singer's tour was put on pause after she was hospitalized in June, spending several days in the ICU. According to her manager, the "Material Girl" singer developed a severe bacterial infection that led to the health scare. Though they anticipated, and she seems to be well on her way to, a full recovery, they did pause on all of her commitments, including the tour that was set to begin on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada.
Shows through Oct. 8 are yet to be rescheduled, but her European leg, scheduled to begin on Oct. 14 in London, is still on as of writing.
She previously teased performing again when she danced along to her song "Lucky Star" in an Instagram video, expressing her gratitude for being able to do so.
"To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!" she said at the time. "Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very. First Album- ????????."
