Madonna Is Thankful to Be Able to 'Dance Just a Little Bit' After Health Scare
Madonna is feeling lucky now that she's able to dance again.
The icon shared a health update on Instagram in the most Madonna way possible: showing off her moves to her song "Lucky Star."
The legendary pop star made sure to look glamorous while doing so, in a sheer black blouse over a matching bustier, with baggy pants and futuristic-looking golden shades.
She captioned the video, "To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world! Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very. First Album- ????????."
The clip comes a month after Madonna was hospitalized in the ICU after developing a serious bacterial infection, as confirmed by her longtime manager Guy Oseary.
The artist first broke her silence about her health on social media on July 10. At the time, she wrote, "I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life."
Her statement continued, "My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone."
The singer closed her statement adding that her focus is currently on her health and "getting stronger," with plans to "reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe."
