Makeup-Free Kylie Jenner Posts Rare Instagram Story With Caitlyn Jenner
While a good half of the Kardashian-Jenner family doesn't appear to be close to Caitlyn (namely Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian), Kylie Jenner posted rare Insta proof yesterday that she still is. In a story, she appears makeup-free alongside Caitlyn to advertise her new Kylie Cosmetics Instagram filter. Caitlyn goes on about how she doesn't know "what the hell" an Instagram filter is. Typical parent-child exchange with an absurd level of fame added to it:

But the fact Caitlyn was included in this is a clever way on Kylie's part to make a statement about how present her birth father is in her life. On June 17, Father's Day, she additionally did a post dedicated to Caitlyn, writing, "so lucky to have you," in the caption. Her sister Kendall, Caitlyn's other birth daughter with Kris, didn't.
But the estrangement between Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian has been more public and dramatic. In February, Khloé made it clear she didn't want Caitlyn to meet her daughter and that they weren't talking; in May, some fans thought Caitlyn snubbed Khloé by not including her in her later-deleted Mother's Day tribute (Kim was included, though).
Last year, Kim publicly said she had no respect for Caitlyn anymore after Caitlyn published a memoir making some controversial claims about Kim's mother Kris. On March 30 this year, Kim posted a photo of Caitlyn pre-transition as Bruce. Some fans thought it was shady then because she posted a pic of Caitlyn and Kris looking aspirational while Cait was still Bruce:
