Mama June Finally Reveals Weight Loss
Mama June fans will finally get to see her new body on the next episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, set to air Friday. In a new preview obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Mama June can be seen walking in on Alana (Honey Boo Boo) while she’s cleaning her money “and counting it.” The two have a little talk about the stresses of buying a flower girl dress. But of course, it’s not just any flower girl dress for any regular ol' wedding. Nope. It’s for June’s ex Sugar Bear and his fiancée Jennifer’s upcoming wedding.
The real takeaway is how incredible Mama June looks in the clip, which also includes a couch confessional.
Mama June previously revealed that she had dropped from 460 pounds to a size 4 after having gastric sleeve and skin removal surgeries. Her transformation, which is featured on the series, has included a strict diet and exercise.
In February, her daughters revealed that Mama June had to "stay in hiding" and wear disguises so viewers would see her big reveal on TV. “It’s been really hard for her [to stay hidden], because my mama is not just a person who can stay in the house,” Alana told People in February. “My mama is very outgoing and stubborn… The craziest disguise that she’s done, she went out with this big jacket on, glasses, a hat, and a scarf. She went overboard.”
