'Mandalorian' Star Gina Carano Passed Out Twice While Filming Baby Yoda 'Force Choke' Scene
Note: This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian.
The Mandalorian star Gina Carano has revealed that she "passed out twice" while filming one scene with Baby Yoda.
While we'd all naturally pass out from a cuteness overload if we saw the little green one for real, the Cara Dune actress has admitted that it was actually one action sequence really took its toll.
The moment in question happens in episode seven when Dune arm wrestles Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Baby Yoda subsequently Force chokes her after thinking his companion is in danger.
Asked by one fan on Twitter what it was like to be Baby Yoda's first Force choke victim, Carano replied: "I'm going to tell you something just between us.
"I legitimately passed out twice while shooting that scene. So.. ya.. it was pretty great. That little ones force choke is no joke." Yikes!
And speaking of the series, following the season's final episode, it seems that The Mandalorian contained a neat little Easter egg for Thor: Ragnarok.
In the episode, Djarin declares that "Mandalorian isn't a race. It's a creed," which echoes a line from the third Thor movie a€“ and it may not be a coincidence that Ragnarok director Taika Waititi also helmed the episode.
The Mandalorian airs on Disney+.
