Mandy Moore shares new photos of 'dreamboat' son Ozzie: 'Covered in spit up and feeding you nonstop but I’m so grateful'
Mandy Moore is celebrating one week with her newborn.
On Instagram Thursday, the This Is Us alum, 38, shared a photo of her baby Oscar Bennett (nicknamed Ozzie). She welcomed her little one with husband Taylor Goldsmith earlier this month. Moore captioned the photo of the sleeping infant, “One week with this dreamboat. You’ve absolutely changed the game, Ozzie. Yes, I’m exhausted and covered in spit up and feeding you nonstop but I’m so grateful and soaking in every second of this time.”
Moore’s friends and followers gushed over the sweet post. Busy Philipps wrote, “Mandy. Pure love.” June Diane Raphael added, “Omg this took me breath away.”
Ozzie is Moore and Goldsmith’s second child. Their first son, August “Gus” Goldsmith, was born in February 2021.
The Because I Said So actress also posted a second photo of Ozzie on Friday, this time to her Instagram Story. The photo featured herself holding baby Ozzie, with Gus and Goldsmith in the same bed. She captioned the family pic, “The best.”
In a post announcing Ozzie’s birth, Moore wrote, “Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents). Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size, and the immediacy of the love is astounding. He is beyond words, and we are so grateful for our family of four!”
In a September interview with Yahoo Life for the series So Mini Ways, the then-pregnant “Candy” singer shared the challenges of being a mom while getting ready to welcome a new baby.
"It's a completely different experience going through this pregnancy with a wild toddler to sort of chase around," Moore explained at the time. "It's been incredible to have this, like, unfiltered, unadulterated, just Gus time before he's a big brother, before there's another little man in the picture that will demand a lot of my attention.”
She shared that she was taking time to bond with Gus before his little brother arrived.
"I'm just excited to have this bonding time to find our rhythm together and to figure out what our days are gonna be," she said, "because my husband is a touring musician and he's been on the road for the most part, and will be until this next one comes. So it's just been Mom and Gus time. And I feel like I'm making up for lost time just because work was what it was, and I didn't get to spend — like most parents — the time that you would want."
