Maren Morris Made a Bangin' Grammys Playlist For Cosmo
Fire up your Airpods; it's Grammys season. If you need a little help prepping for the ceremony, you're in luck, because Maren Morris hooked us up with the perfect Grammys pregame. (Not rosé, sorry.) The country star has a whopping five nominations this year and is set to perform in the Dolly Parton tribute, but she's still rooting for literally everyone else. Maren made us a playlist of her favorite bops from this year's Grammy nominated artists, and it SLAPS.
Here are some of The Middle singer's pre-ceremony picks, as well as a little insight into who she'll be rooting for on Sunday.
"Carried Away" by H.E.R.
"I'm just obsessed with her voice, the drums, the soul of this song. I'm really rooting for her at the awards this year."
"Always Remember Us This Way" by Lady Gaga
"My friends Natalie Hemby and Lori McKenna wrote this song with Gaga for the soundtrack and I, like the rest of the world, adored A Star is Born."
"Weed, Whiskey and Willie" by Brothers Osborne
"I love the Bros because they stand for something. This song just reminds me why country music is the most heartfelt music today."
"The Mother" by Brandi Carlile
"Brandi is a friend of mine and is rightfully the most nominated woman for this album. I know she's gonna walk away with some hardware!"
