Maren Morris came out to support Taylor Swift with a stunning appearance on the red carpet of the pop star's Eras Tour concert film premiere in Los Angeles last night.

The "Chasing After You" singer was photographed at the Oct. 11 event, held at AMC The Grove, wearing a black body-hugging latex tube top style mini dress, which appeared to be designed by the fashion house Wolford, and strappy black heels–specifically the Billini Tie Up Stiletto in Black Patent.

Her daring look was further complemented by a matching black mani-pedi, a few rings and eclectic silver earrings.

Morris' latest red carpet appearance comes about a week after the 33-year-old opened up about her reasons for "taking a step back from country music" amid the "drama" between herself, fellow country star Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany.

While appearing on The New York Times' Popcast, she detailed why she decided to walk away from the genre she broke out in and embrace a shift into the pop music scene. "I don't want to say [it's a] goodbye, but I really cannot participate in the really toxic arms of this institution anymore [in Nashville]," she explained.

"I couldn't do this sort of circus anymore of feeling like I have to absorb and explain people's bad behaviors and laugh it off," Morris added. "I just couldn't do that after 2020 particularly. It was just like, I've changed. A lot of things changed about me."

Clarifying her stance, she noted that it's "a little bit hyperbolic to be like, 'She's left country music' because that's ridiculous, but I certainly can't participate in a lot of it." She added, "I'm okay just going and doing my own thing, and come with me if you please, everyone's welcome."

Morris previously suggested the sour situation was just one instance of the biased behavior she's trying to distance herself from.

"After the Trump years, people’s biases were on full display," she shared with the LA Times. "It just revealed who people really were and that they were proud to be misogynistic and racist and homophobic and transphobic."
