Margaux has done it again. A couple of years ago, the NYC-based shoe brand launched its first loafers, a suede style called The Penny. At the time, Town & Country's Deputy Digital Lifestyle Director Roxanne Adamiyatt raved about them, and said the "shoe fits like a glove" and "looks insanely feminine on the foot." Recently, Margaux revealed another loafer, leather iteration called The Andie—it’s quite literally the only shoes I’ve been talking about for months.

Let me preface this by saying I am a Margaux mega fan. Like, I own nine different styles. The shoes are ridiculously comfortable and supportive, and that’s saying a lot coming from me. I hate getting blisters, I hate hard soles that leave my feet aching, and I hate when my toes pinch together. Margaux is one of the few shoe brands that’s never let me hobbling in pain or using a whole box of Band-Aids afterward (Proof: read my review on the label's heeled sandals). I can walk and walk and walk in the shoes, and you'll never hear a complaint from me. Not even a peep.

Comfort aside, the Andie loafers make me feel so damn polished the moment I slip my feet into them. Made of a smooth Italian nappa leather, the geniuses behind Margaux updated the penny loafer style by ditching the classic slot for a minimal, puffed band detail. They still retain that preppy, borrowed-from-the-boys look we all know and love, but they have a femininity about them that makes me feel elegant yet gamine. I love how I can wear them with all types of outfits, whether that be jeans and button down or a blouse with a slim pair of dress pants or midi skirt. I often wear them with no-show socks, but lately I’ve been styling them with quarter-length socks and I’m sort of obsessed with that look. Super casual and laid back.

The Andie comes in five colors—I got mine in the Burgundy Napa color because I am true believer of burgundy being the new black. It’s less harsh, more modern, and just a fresh difference from black. But no hate against the black… I actually bought my mother a pair around the holidays cause I was talking her ear off about them and how I think she’d like them. They’re just as beautiful in person. As for what my mom thinks? Let me just say, mom is a Gaux Girl herself now.

The shoes also come in Ecru, which Roxanne has and is perfect for the warmer seasons ahead. Whenever she wears them to the office, I can’t help but admire how stunning they look in that color. too. Will they make the cut and become my 10th Margaux pair? They very might just well be.
