Margot Robbie Continues Her Barbie Red Carpet Streak in Vintage Schiaparelli
Even when Margot Robbie isn't trying to emulate a Barbie look, she's still somehow totally giving us Barbie. Case in point: this absolutely gorgeous Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2020 gown.
I mean: come on, right? This may be a Maison Schiaparelli original, but tell me it isn't also giving a little bit of the 1998 Happy Holidays special edition Barbie with the black dress and big pink bow?
Robbie wore the dress on the red carpet of the 2024 Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards and during the ceremony, presenting the movie Barbie (which is nominated for Best Cast) alongside her co-star America Ferrera.
The dress' standout aspect is definitely the oversized, structural, Barbie pink bow that loops up and around Robbie's shoulder, and then down around her waist. Every detail has been considered and perfected.
Question: What will happen when the Barbie press tour is officially over at the Academy Awards in a few short weeks? Red carpets simply won't be the same without Robbie's standout looks. Can Hollywood confirm the inevitable sequel now so that Margot Robbie can continue impressing fans with her doll-inspired fashion?
