Mariah Carey Breaks the Internet With Risqué Jessica Rabbit Costume
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey dressed up as Jessica Rabbit for Halloween this year, and it's honestly hard to tell the difference between the "Always Be My Baby" singer and the fictional character.
The songstress obviously nailed her depiction of the Who Framed Roger Rabbit? animated star, based on both her obvious likeness to the cartoon character and fans' reactions on social media.
For the Oct. 31 holiday, Carey slipped into a form-fitting strapless red gown, which was completely bedazzled and featured a risqué thigh-high slit up the side. The dress was paired with glittery platform crimson-colored heels and elbow-length gloves.
The beauty details were nearly identical to Jessica Rabbit's (although, we realize that is the point of Halloween), as she donned silky, vibrant red tresses in soft waves indistinguishable from the on-screen character's. Even Carey's makeup hit the nail on the head, complete with red lipstick, shimmery eye shadow, heavy blush, lightly-penned thin eyebrows, and dramatically long, wispy eyelashes.
In a duo of shots posted to Instagram on Monday, Oct. 30, the 54-year-old appeared ageless while posing in her expertly pulled-off costume.
Fans in the comments section of the upload filtered in with compliments for the "incredible" creation.
"Darling… I’m having to gather myself with every post and update. You’re giving me the shivers," one declared, as another said, "It perfectly slayed ??."
"One thing about Mariah is her makeup and wardrobe always on point," a third pointed out, while a fourth gushed, "Ohhhhhhhhhh my God ! This is magic."
"WHY YOU JUST CASUALLY END EVERYONE LIKE THIS ??????," an additional supporter exclaimed.

"OMG the is is absolutely incredible. The biggest crossover of all time. Mariah x Jessica. Perfection! ?? ??," someone else insisted.
While Halloween may be fun for playing dress-up, Carey has often been dubbed the "Queen of Christmas," and with winter right around the corner, we can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve for the upcoming holiday season.
"Yes, the actual defrosting has begun! ?? Announcing the MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL Tour!??," the "All I Want for Christmas is You" singer recently wrote on social media while announcing new tour dates.
