Earlier this year Carey was in some hot water after multiple artist were displeased with her attempt to trademark the "Queen of Christmas" title. She first filed for the trademark in early 2021 for use on a variety of products, including fragrances, food and beer, bags, and much more, as well as in audiovisual material and live musical performances. The application was published for opposition on July 12, 2022, and was delivered.
Although the Christmas crooner didn't receive her trademarked title, she is still going strong with new holiday products!
Mark your calendars because The Christmas Princess storybook drops on Nov. 1!
