Mariska Hargitay Sends Fans Sweet Message While Braving Cold 'SVU' Set in NYC

Mariska Hargitay may have been cold while filming a recent outdoor scene of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but not too cold to spread a little love.
The actress—who has appeared in the long-running police procedural since its inception in 1999—was spotted on set while working in frigid New York City weather on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Hargitay was all bundled up in a dark-colored outfit from head-to-toe, wearing black pants and boots paired with a knee-length coat, leather gloves, and a beanie for headwear. According to the forecast, temperatures were in the high 20s–low 30s that day, making for quite the chilly work environment.
But even in the crisp, icy winter air, the mom of three was still sure to make the day count and share a love-filled message while being caught on camera by photographers.
In a few snaps, the newly-minted 60-year-old seemingly put her hands up into a heart gesture, while shooting a wide-toothed smile straight at the camera.
One of the images was also shared via Instagram by Getty Images photographer José Pérez, who was responsible for capturing the picture, alongside the caption, "@therealmariskahargitay wishes a happy Valentine’s Day to everyone .!! ?????????? #SVU @nbclawandorder set."
Hargitay even reposted the upload on her Instagram Stories, where "In the name of love" appeared in cursive red text overlay, joined by a red heart emoji.
Earlier on Wednesday, the TV mainstay issued another heartfelt message to SVU fans, uploading a photo of herself nearby a body of water, with costars Ice T and Octavio Pisano standing on either side of her, pressing a kiss to her cheeks as she grinned widely.
Season 25 of the hit show recently premiered on Jan. 18, after a delay that resulted from WGA and SAG-AFTRA Hollywood strikes. New episodes air Thursdays at 9 PM ET on NBC.
