Mariska Hargitay appears to be enjoying safari life, and so does her teenage son!
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star has recently been traveling in Kenya, and her photos from the once-in-a-lifetime trip have been nothing short of sublime so far.
But her latest Instagram snap featured more than the majestic safari animals, as her followers also got a glimpse at one of Hargitay's kids, her eldest son, August. The 17-year-old appeared to be all smiles while posing for a rare selfie with his mom from inside their safari vehicle.
While her boy was beaming with joy in the pic, Hargitay, 59, opted for more of a cool vibe in the pic, letting out only a tiny smile while sporting oversized sunglasses, a hat and a bandana neck scarf that had her looking like a natural safari-goer.
She kept her caption simple, with just a few hashtags including, "#SafariLife" and "#Kenya."
"August looks a lot like you ?? he’s very handsome," one of her Instagram followers wrote under the post, while another commended Hargitay's "A+ safari fashion game."
Fans—who have been happily following along with her recent travels—were glad to see the actress enjoying her vacation with members of her fam, as her husband, Peter Hermann, has been putting his photography skills to good use capturing the local wildlife while in Kenya.
The spouses—who have been married since 2004—also have two other children, daughter Amaya, 12, and son Andrew, 11, who are also presumably along for the trip as well, even if they haven't been featured on their famous mom's Instagram yet.
Hargitay has instead been sharing astonishing photos of the animals, including her "new friend," Ditu, a giraffe who she met on the first day of 2024.
"Absolutely gorgeous! One heck of a memory to have for a trip like that," one fan commented on a post from earlier in the week.
"2024 coming in hot ??," another follower added.
