The actress commented on her close relationship with her 'Law & Order' co-star.

Law & Order co-stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are known for being very close, but recently, a mistake (or a devoted fan) led Hargitay to be listed as Meloni's "second wife" on Wikipedia.

Now, the actress addressed the title and revealed whether or not she thought it was appropriate.

Both Hargitay and Meloni spoke with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of the show's 24th season, and during the interview, Hargitay called the "second wife" title "awesome."

When asked about it, Hargitay said, "It's kind of right in a way, isn't it?"

Clarifying, the actress who plays Captain Olivia Benson in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit said, "I mean, I don't think I'll be marrying him any time soon, but I am kind of like his second wife. Wife, therapist, bestie, sister, mother."

Although it's unclear whether or not a fan made the change on Meloni's Wikipedia page, Hargitay said, "I think the uber fans literally want our spouses to go away."

In Law & Order: SVU, Benson and Meloni's character, Detective Elliot Stabler, are partners for over a decade. The two clearly have romantic tension, but they haven't shared a kiss–yet.

In real life, both Hargitay and Meloni are married to different people.

Hargitay has been married to fellow actor and Law & Order cast member Peter Hermann since 2004, while Meloni married wife Sherman Williams in 1995.

Meloni currently leads the newest Law & Order spinoff, Law & Order: Organized Crime, but his character Stabler continues to interact with Benson through crossover episodes, one of which will serve as the season premiere for Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Organized Crime on Sept. 22.

Fans are hopeful that this could be the turning point for Benson and Stabler's relationship.

In an interview with TODAY, Law & Order: SVU showrunner David Graziano had this to say about a possible romance between the two: "I'm a firm believer in true love prevailing dramatically if not in real life. But before you can have a healthy relationship like that, if you have some monsters under your bed, you have to slay those first. Otherwise, they're going to follow you into that relationship."
