Mariska Hargitay’s Son on 'SVU' Posted an Emotional Tribute to His 'Second Mama'
Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay celebrated her 56th birthday on January 23.
Her on-screen son shared the most heartfelt message to his "second mama" on Twitter.

The Law & Order: SVU star rang in her 56th birthday on January 23 and received an outpouring of love from colleagues and friends. But perhaps the sweetest tribute came from Ryan Buggle, who plays Mariska’s TV son on SVU.
“Another year with you by my side, is another year of magic,” Ryan wrote on Twitter. “Happy Birthday to my second mama @Mariska, I love you!”

Ryan plays Noah Porter-Benson, Olivia Benson’s son who she adopted in season 15. Not only do Benson and Noah have a close relationship on-screen, but it looks like the two actors have a tight bond off-screen, too.
The now 56-year-old received an influx of notes on her special day from more than just Ryan. Messages from stars like Sophia Bush, Courteney Cox, and Viola Davis filled the comments of her Instagram post, as well.

Actress Ali Wentworth even shared a moving post on her Instagram along with an awesome homemade cake.

A couple days earlier, Mariska shared a tribute of her own, dedicated to her late mother, Jayne Mansfield. The photo is of her mom hugging herself, which Mariska shared for National Hugging Day.
From the looks of it, it seems like Mariska had a birthday surrounded by friends, family, and tons of love. What more can you ask for!
