Mark Consuelos Shows Chiseled 6-Pack in Cold Plunge Segment on 'Live'
Mark Consuelos really embraced Aches & Pains Week on Live with Kelly and Mark, giving his abdominal muscles some relief (and exposure) during a cold plunge segment.
Consuelos and his wife, Kelly Ripa, teamed up with the show's executive producer, Michael Gelman, to try out an ice bath plunge led by Dr. Jonathan Leary.
In the segment, Ripa introduced their guest and together they went over the health benefits of cold plunges.
Soon enough, Consuelos and Gelman were instructed to get in the ice baths, with the co-host taking his robe off and revealing his extremely toned six-pack and arms. By his side, Gelman's abs weren't anything to laugh at either.
The live audience cheered for them, which was likely some much-needed encouragement as they dipped into the ice-cold water.
When the guest asked the two how they were doing, Consuelos said, “I feel good," before noting that his legs were feeling "interesting" and "extreme." Gelman and Consuelos lasted over six minutes in the ice baths before emerging.
Live with Kelly and Mark also posted photos from the experience on Twitter, and people were amazed by how in shape both men were, particularly Consuelos.
One person replied, "Absolutely worth watching just for Mark’s abs. Gelman looks great too. Love you guys," while another said, "Hunky men!!! I've got to try this!!!"
Earlier this year, former co-host Ryan Seacrest shared that he would be leaving the show and Consuelos was announced as his replacement. The first episode of Live with Kelly and Mark featuring the married hosts aired on April 17.
Ripa has been hosting the show for over 20 years, joining in 2001 and going through a few different co-hosts, including Regis Philbin and Michael Strahan.
